一直以來，畢業公演提供學生一個平台展示創意和才華，過程中學生將會向觀眾展示他們在語言、文學和表達方面的深厚知識。而這個公演代表著他們學習旅程的最後一哩路，也預示著他們在未來將繼續在各個領域中取得非凡的成就；除了能在劇中看到創意火花、文字力量和表演魅力，學生也將成為故事的鋪陳者及傳播者。
導演曾子珉提到：本次挑選《Peerless》，一齣經典黑色喜劇。劇組想透過劇中的權力鬥爭讓觀眾能反省自身和反省整個現存社會的架構，宛如包著糖衣的毒藥，希望在娛樂觀眾時，也能帶來更多反思。另外，適逢英文系六十週年，我們期望能夠重新探究戲劇的本質，在慶祝的同時，同時和觀眾找回戲劇的感動人心。

Until now, the Senior Play has served as a platform for students to showcase their creativity and talents. Throughout the performance, students will demonstrate their profound knowledge of language, literature, and expression to the audience. The Senior Play symbolizes the culmination of their learning journey, signifying that they will continue to achieve extraordinary accomplishments in various fields in the future. Beyond witnessing sparks of creativity, the power of words, and the charm of the performance, students will also step into the roles of storytellers and communicators.
Our director, Aubrey, has chosen "Peerless," a classic dark comedy for this occasion. We aim to utilize the power struggles depicted in the play to prompt the audience to reflect on themselves and question the overall structure of our society. Like sugar-coated poison, our goal is to provide not only entertainment but also a profound sense of introspection for the audience. Additionally, as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the English department, we anticipate re-examining the essence of drama. Lastly, while commemorating the 60th anniversary, we also plan to rediscover the original purpose of drama, which has always touched the hearts of the audience.
