A meal photo is required only when you choose to use AI Meal Scan, because the image is used to generate the AI-assisted suggestions.
Confirm that FitLog has permission to access your photos or camera. You can review permissions in your phone’s system settings.
Also check that your device has enough available storage.
Yes. Open the saved meal from your Meals history or calendar and choose the edit option.
You can update the meal details and save your changes.
FitLog lets you review several components of a meal, such as:
Protein source
Vegetables or fruit
Fiber-rich carbohydrate
Healthy fat
Overall meal balance
These are intended as simple wellness-tracking tools rather than medical or dietary recommendations.
From the Meals page, tap Add Water or use one of the available quick-add water amounts.
Your progress will update toward your daily water goal.
AI Meal Scan can analyze a meal photo and provide editable meal-balance suggestions.
The suggestions may include:
Whether a visible protein source is present
Whether vegetables or fruit are present
Whether a fiber-rich carbohydrate is visible
Whether a healthy fat appears to be present
A suggested overall meal-balance rating
A short explanation for the suggestions

A credit is only granted after the required rewarded-ad completion conditions are met.

AI Meal Scan is completely optional.
You can always log and edit meals manually without using the AI feature.

Enter your weight.
Confirm the date if needed.
Save the entry.
Your latest weight and trend information will update automatically.
The 7-day average gives you a smoother view of your recent weight than a single measurement.
Daily weight can fluctuate for many reasons, so the average can make the overall trend easier to see.
The Trend card compares your recent weight data with the previous period and indicates the direction of the change.
You can also use the graph to review your weight over time.
If you provide both height and weight, FitLog can display your estimated Body Mass Index, or BMI.
BMI is a general reference measurement and does not provide a complete assessment of health or body composition.
Yes.
Height is optional. However, FitLog needs a height value if you want the app to calculate BMI.

FitLog includes workout timers that can support:
Exercise intervals
Rest intervals
Multiple sets or rounds
Timed activities
Your timer configuration depends on the workout or preset you create.
Yes.
During an active timer, tap Pause. You can resume the timer when you are ready.
After completing a timer session, FitLog can let you continue to the workout logging flow so the completed activity can be recorded.
First check:
Your iPhone volume
Silent mode
Notification permissions
FitLog notification settings
You can review timer-related settings under:
Settings → Notification Settings
Depending on your device settings, sound behavior may differ when your phone is in silent mode.
Open:
Settings → Notification Settings
You can adjust the available timer alert and vibration settings there.
Why did my workout timer appear delayed?
If FitLog remains in the background for an extended period, iOS may affect how some timer alerts are delivered. For the most reliable experience during an active timed workout, keep FitLog open and make sure notification and Focus settings are not suppressing alerts.
FitLog supports reminders for available tracking activities such as:
Meals
Weight
Workouts
Depending on the reminder, you can choose the time and available repeat schedule.
Open Settings.
Go to the appropriate reminder settings.
Choose the reminder you want to create.
Select the time and repeat schedule.
Save the reminder.
Make sure notifications are allowed for FitLog on your iPhone.
Open the reminder from FitLog's reminder settings.
From there, you can update its time or schedule, or remove the reminder if you no longer need it.
First, check that:
The reminder is enabled in FitLog.
The reminder time and repeat schedule are correct.
FitLog has permission to send notifications.
A Focus mode is not silencing FitLog notifications.
FitLog notifications have not been disabled in your iPhone settings.
You can review notification permission under:
iPhone Settings → Notifications → FitLog
If you recently changed notification settings, reopen FitLog and check that your reminders are still configured as expected.
You can continue using FitLog normally, but scheduled reminders and other notification-based alerts may not appear.
You can enable notifications later from:
iPhone Settings → Notifications → FitLog
If the reminder provides an enable or disable option, you can turn it off without deleting the reminder.
This lets you keep its configuration and enable it again later.
FitLog provides notification and timer alert settings where available.
Open:
Settings → Notification Settings
You can adjust the available sound and vibration preferences for supported alerts.
Your iPhone's system settings, silent mode, and Focus settings may also affect how an alert is presented.
A notification may still appear without an audible sound.
Check:
Your iPhone volume

Focus settings
FitLog notification permissions
FitLog's notification settings
Some alerts may behave differently depending on your device and system configuration.

iOS ultimately controls how and when notifications are displayed.
No. You do not normally need to keep FitLog open for scheduled reminders.
However, notification permission must remain enabled and the reminder must still be active in FitLog.
Reminders are scheduled notifications that help prompt you to log or complete an activity at a particular time.
Timer alerts are part of an active workout timer and notify you about exercise or rest intervals.
For help with workout timers, see the Timers section.

AI Meal Scan is optional. Meals, weight, workouts, timers, and other supported features can still be used without AI analysis.
Your personal meal, weight, and workout entries are not intended to be used to determine which advertisements are shown to you.
For complete information about advertising and data practices, please review the FitLog Privacy Policy.
The current version does not provide account-based or cloud synchronization. Data entered on one device will not automatically appear on another device.
FitLog stores your meal, weight, workout, and other core history locally on your device. If you delete the app, that locally stored history and associated FitLog data may be permanently removed and may not be recoverable after reinstalling.
FitLog does not currently provide account-based cloud backup or synchronization, so reinstalling the app will not automatically restore your previous FitLog history.
On iPhone, Offload App is different from deleting the app: iOS may keep the app’s documents and data when the app is offloaded.
Open Settings → Storage & Privacy and use the available options to remove stored photos or app data. Please review each confirmation message carefully because deleted local data may not be recoverable.
