Yes. Everyone 16 years old and older must bring a printed copy of their valid WI fishing license including a Great Lakes Salmon and Trout Stamp. 2-Day licenses are available for purchase at Wal-mart or online at the WI DNR Go Wild Website.
The maximum group size is 6 passengers (customers), plus the captain and first mate per boat. This is due to Coast Guard regulations. If a larger group is desired, we can coordinate with other boats to facilitate this type of event.
Typically we will remain out fishing if a member of the group gets sea sick. If the group requests to return to the dock we will do so, but you will still be charged for the length of the full trip.
Trips will only be cancelled at the captain's discretion. We will not fish if it's stormy or too rough. However, we do fish in the rain so be prepared with rain gear in the event the forecast is calling for rain.
If your trip is cancelled (by the captain) we will do our best to reschedule it. If we are unable to reschedule, your deposit will be refunded. If you decide to cancel your trip, 14 days notice is required to receive a refund of your deposit.
Yes. There is a clean bathroom for your convenience on board.
Yes. Typically a good place to start is around a 20% tip for the First Mate if you feel like you have received great service. Catching fish is never a guarantee, but we will work hard to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience with us on the water.
