Meet the Captain

Welcome to Fish Stik Fishing! My name is Nate Cook and I am a U.S. Coast Guard, fully insured, licensed Captain. Like many anglers, my love of fishing began at an early age. However, it wasn't until I reached my mid-20's that I first voyaged out on Lake Michigan for the first time. I was hooked! The screaming drag and the power of a King Salmon pounding away on the rod was unlike anything I had ever experienced before! Since then I have enjoyed every moment on the water and I am thankful that I have been able to share that experience many times with others.

I look forward to meeting you and getting out on the water!

Captain Kevin Tank

Kevin has been an invaluable part of our success from the start! He is often running the boat for our weekend trips. Kevin is a great fisherman and always works hard to give our groups an enjoyable experience on the water. He brings with him his experience and knowledge of fishing hard on Lake Michigan since 2009. We couldn't do it without him!

The Boat

We feature some of the latest equipment on the market, from big-name brands like Shimano, Penn, Okuma, Fish Hawk, Humminbird, and Magnum Metalz! We use a variety of presentations on monofilament, braid, wire, leadcore, and copper line. Come try them out!
