Welcome to the Fisheries and Environmental Oceanography Laboratory website!
海洋生物とそれを取り巻く生物・物理・化学的環境に関する研究分野です。海洋生物の生態を直接計測するバイオロギング・バイオテレメトリーの手法を開発・応用する研究、海洋における生物資源を生み出す海の仕組みを明らかにし、それをモデル化することで、海洋生態系の豊かさを維持する手法・方策の研究などを行っています。
This field of study focuses on marine organisms and their biological, physical, and chemical environments that surround them. Our research includes the development and application of biologging and biotelemetry methods to directly measure the ecology of marine organisms. Additionally, we also study the methods and measures to maintain the diversity of marine ecosystems by clarifying and modeling the mechanisms that produce biological resources in the ocean.
当研究室では、研究者を目指す大学院生を募集しています
真理を追究したい、海洋環境を維持・改善したい、水産業に貢献できる研究者になりたい等といった強い志を持った人達がたくさん学んでいます。他大学からの進学や他分野出身の方も歓迎します。これまで京都大学に限らず、様々な大学出身の先輩が当研究室で学び、巣立っていきました。その多くは、研究者や公務員として第一線で活躍しています。研究室訪問は、随時受け付けています。下記の連絡先に記載されているメール・電話からご連絡ください。
Many people with strong aspirations are studying here such as those seeking deeper understanding, maintaining and improving the marine environment, and becoming researchers who can contribute to the fisheries industry. We welcome students from other universities and researchers from other fields as well. Many of them have studied and graduated the laboratory, not only from Kyoto University, but also from various other universities. Many of them are active on the front lines as researchers or public officials. Laboratory visits are always welcome.
