Getting Here


Firth Park is easy to find, approx 3 miles from the city centre and just a couple of minutes away from the Northern General Hospital. Lots of bus routes come through the area and stop near the main park entrance, which is by the roundabout in the shopping centre.

By Public Transport

There are lots of buses which stop by Firth Park at frequent intervals.

Buses nos 1, 11, 75, 76, 76a and 88 from the city centre all stop in the centre of Firth Park shopping area.

No 1 and 11 stop outside the library actually on the roundabout - walk to your left as you leave the bus; the park is just across Hucklow Road.

Nos 75, 76, 76a and 88 stop just after the roundabout on Bellhouse Road next to Greggs. Head back towards the roundabout when you get off the bus and you will see the park entrance on your left hand side.

By Car

To drive to Firth Park, take the A6135 Barnsley Road and then B6086 Firth Park Road to the roundabout in Firth Park centre, take the first exit left along Hucklow Road.

The car park is just after the First Start building which is also on your left. Car Parking here is free but there are limited spaces.

There are also roadside parking bays in the area although during busy shopping times, spaces fill up quickly!

By Bike

If you fancy cycling all the way to the park, there are plenty of places to secure your bike before you have a walk around.
