We are the Positive Peers, students trained to help other students thrive through creating student-only spaces where we support and learn from each other. We run outreach workshops, one-to-one and group support for those experiencing difficulties, and online engagement through blogposts, newsletters, and podcasts.
We are the KCL branch of Students for Global Health UK, a student network and registered charity tackling global and local health inequalities through education, advocacy and community action. KCL Trauma and Orthopaedics Society is dedicated to increasing exposure of trauma care and orthopaedic surgery to medical students throughout all stages of the curriculum. We primarily focus on inviting orthopaedic trainees to give inspiring talks and events to help assist medical students with their clinical examinations for trauma and orthopaedics rotations.
We also hold exciting conferences, careers talks and plastering workshops!
KCL Endocrinology is a student-led society for those with an interest in Endocrinology and Diabetes. We host revision sessions, OSCE classes and a journal club where we discuss the latest research in Endocrinology.
At GKT Musical Theatre Society, we are all about empowering students through expression of their true selves, whether that be through music, dance, theatre or other. The beauty behind this society stems from it’s ability to bring together such diversely talented people, from our tech crew to our ballerinas, uniting them both on and off stage. At GKTMT, we put our heart and soul into what we do, and at the end of the day we consider ourselves a family.
Student Action for Refugees (STAR) is a student-run organisation that aims to raise awareness of refugee issues and promote the integration of refugees and asylum seekers into society.
We are passionate about refugee and asylum seekers’ rights, providing you with rewarding volunteering and campaigning experience as well as offering a range of opportunities to develop new skills, meet other like-minded students, and be a part of a fun society!
Hi! We’re the King’s College London St John Ambulance society, associated with the KCL SJA unit. Our primary aim is to teach our members about essential first aid and lifesaving medical treatment. We’re comprised of members from all across the university, with no medical experience needed to join!
Some of our members choose to qualify as First Aiders with St John Ambulance, giving them a chance to help at community events like concerts in Hyde Park. We also manage to have a lot of fun too at our socials and events like the Winter Ball! If you’re interested in joining feel free to contact us - hope you have a wonderful experience at King’s!
We are the General Practice society here at KCL! The aim of our society is to promote the exciting and versatile career of General Practice to anyone interested! We provide our members with amazing events, including revision talks and exam tips, mock OSCEs and career-related events.
Over the past few years we have increased our membership but putting on events for your benefit, making us a truly student-led, student-focused society.
Our most loved events include the overwhelming popular clinical skills taster evening for 1st and 2nd years, our revision series, DiscoverGP nights with networking and academic opportunities and conference!
We aim to provide something for every cohort at the medical school, and we appreciate that with the introduction of the new curriculum, it can be difficult to find relevant resources. This year, we aim to provide similar events and resources, as well as new ones, in order to help you through your journey at GKT.
KCL Marrow are the student group at King’s who work with Anthony Nolan, the blood cancer charity. We recruit people to the stem cell register to help give people with blood cancer a second chance at life in the form of a bone marrow transplant. The other side of this work is fundraising so that Anthony Nolan can continue their lifesaving work. Join for a friendly and fun atmosphere at events and the opportunity to make a real difference whilst you study 💙

Our society aims to provide support to all the bioscience students by organising various events to help you settle in and get through your first year. Our events range from CYO midsessional workshop to careers symposium and for those wanting to apply for postgrad entry into medicine, we’ve also got you covered. Our friendly committee members will be there to answer your questions and help you sort out any issues you might face so do get in touch with us.

KCL Women's Cricket Club are one of the only university women's cricket clubs in London. We train at the Oval every week and we welcome players of all abilities, whether you are a back garden cricketer or a county player! KCL Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society provides support for medical students with an interest in O&G through stimulating career talks and clinical skills practice sessions. We also strive to provide lectures for midwifery, nursing students and staff who have an interest in women’s reproductive health.
Here at KCLNMS we strive to make student nurses and midwives enjoy and feel supported throughout their uni experience. We arrange socials and different fun events for our members to switch of from uni at and meet new friends. We also organise relevant talks so to support extra-curricular educational development. We mainly focus on being there as an extra support system for our members, whether simply that be through a quick chat or message!
The aim of the KCL Crohn's and Colitis Society is to provide information to anyone and everyone about the increasingly common autoimmune conditions: Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis, also known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
We also collaborate with other societies to deliver teaching sessions on IBD and to raise awareness (GP Society and Gastro society in previous years).
Furthermore we hope to raise awareness, perform outreach and become a source of support at King's College London for any individuals directly or indirectly affected by this relatively unknown, incurable chronic disease.
