On October 26, 1987, our Church opened a Thrift Shop to the community in Fellowship Hall and moved into renovated classrooms in the church October 18, 2021. The Every Monday Thrift Shop was created to be an outreach mission to those in need. The
Thrift Shop sells clothing, linens, small household items, toys, jewelry, books, and cards which is all received by donations from Church members and the community. Also available for distribution are free coupons, calendars, soap, shampoo, magazines and Bibles. Vouchers from JUMP Clients have also been redeemed. The Every Monday Thrift Shop has assisted several individuals/families with funding for utilities and supplying basic needs. Some families have been met to purchase shoes and socks for their children.
The money raised has been donated to help God's children in need. Organizations the Every Monday Thrift Shop has monthly supported Joint Urban Ministries Project (JUMP); Community Health Care @ Lakeside Pharmacy; and Sara Holbrook.

Money and supplies have been donated to Habitat for Humanity and Volunteer in Mission Programs in support of projects that Church members were participating in. It has supported several of our Church youth by donating money to an individual's trip abroad, providing Camperships and contributing to the Youth Scholarship Fund, and the church’s youth programs. The Thrift Shop has given funds to the United Methodist Committee on Relief for several of its Advance Specials including natural disasters locally, nationally and worldwide. In recent years, with expanded hours, the shop has been able to support our church’s general fund.
The Every Monday Thrift Shop received a special recognition in1994 by The Community Health Center honoring our Church and the Thrift Shop for its dedication to the health of Burligton children. We were given a plaque and an examination room at the health Center was named for us.
