Phase 1: The Survival Bootcamp (5-Week Plan)
Before we hit the stage, we hit the training ground. Over five weeks, we will break down the essentials of performance and apocalypse survival. Whether you are here for the acting, the dance, or the chaos, this is how we prepare.
Week 1: THE OUTBREAK (Feb 26th)
Mission: This is a Free Open Event to kick things off!
The Training: We start by mastering techniques such as the "Fear Factor"—using facial expressions and vocal reactions to build tension. On the movement side, we’ll teach "The Glitch," using hip hop, popping and locking isolation techniques to create that disjointed, undead look.
The Finale: We end the session with "Infection Tag" and Zombie Vocals.
Week 2: WEAPONS & WARRIORS (Mar 5th)
Mission: Learning to fight back... uniquely.
The Training: Forget swords; we are doing "Improv with Objects," turning ridiculous props like spatulas and pool noodles into lethal weapons. You will learn strong combat stances and safe attack choreography.
The Finale: A "Slow-Mo Battle Royale" where actors and dancers pair up to choreograph a 30-second fight scene.
Week 3: WALKERS & THRILLERS (Mar 12th)
Mission: Moving as a horde.
The Training: We dive into "The Silent Movie," using physical theatre and mime to convey hunger and stealth without words. Dancers will tackle "The Horde Routine"—a street-style Zombie Ensemble piece (Think 'thriller!')
The Finale: We combine forces for a music video shoot to create our TikTok and social media promo.
Week 4: THE ART OF DYING (Mar 19th)
Mission: If you’re going to go, go with style.
The Training: We explore the classic horror "Archetypes" (The Jock, The Nerd, The Beauty Queen). You'll also learn "The Death Drop"—the technical skill of falling to the floor safely but dramatically using our crash mats in a safe controlled manor.
The Finale: "Blood & Mud." We head to the wardrobe station to start creating our zombie looks.
Week 5: SURVIVAL TRIALS (Mar 26th)
Mission: Open workshop Auditions. Show us what you've got.
The Training: We will polish the "Horde Routine" and hand out "Script Sides" to read funny extracts for specific roles.
The Finale: "The Final Showcase." We mix groups to perform a loop of the Battle, the Dance, and the Scenes to determine the final cast list.
