Our food pantry continues to be blessed with several donations from area farmers providing many fresh vegetables from their gardens. Ground beef, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, peppers, zucchini, kale leaves and potatoes! These fresh items have been greatly appreciated!
The food pantry recently received a generous donation from the LifeInspired program, “Creating a Healthier Future for All.” This is a venture between Feeding America and ThedaCare. Over 20 boxes came to the food pantry specifically from Wild Rose Thedacare Hospital. The pantry began handing out the boxes in June. Each box contained canned fruit, vegetables, tomato sauce, chicken, and tuna, along with peanut butter, honey, oats, rice, spaghetti and recipes. Thank you to these organizations for providing this wonderful donation to our pantry.
The food pantry recently received a generous donation from Grand River Lions club. Our pantry volunteers made these items available to our pantry guests in July. Thank you to all community members that donated items and thank you to the Grand River Lions club for gifting this wonderful donation to our pantry.
Donation from Wautoma Bank First
The food pantry recently received a generous donation from Bank First in Wautoma as part of their paper shredding event held in April in which community members could drop off nonperishable food items. Our pantry volunteers made these items available to our pantry guests May 7th. Thank you to all community members that donated items and thank you to Bank First for gifting this wonderful donation to our pantry.
