History

We are running a small home business, and when we realized how dangerous the structured pharmaceutical industry is for us, we decided to research natural medication. We stumbled on cannabis, but it was evident that society is very ignorant about its true nature. We quickly realized that a one-fit-all approach was all we could find, which caused a lot of mistrust. Businesses would sell "cannabis" products while they had no part in the manufacturing process, which meant that the suppliers could hand over whatever they wanted. 

We honed in on the industry, and after many hours, days, weeks, and months we saw a gap where we could make a valuable contribution, and FireFlask was born. One of the main contributors to our success is Emily Kyle from https://emilykylenutrition.com/ in Livonia, New York, USA. 

We use the best extraction process possible and combine the result with top-quality flavorings. We let the client choose the desired effect (Sativa vs Indica), the label, and the flavor. Admittedly, we don't sell the cheapest cannabis products, but exclusive quality never goes cheap. 

We are the first and thus far the only producers of Full-Spectrum CBD liqueurs and sauces in South Africa. Our secret process will ensure that you get the best from every milligram of cannabis we source for you. We choose only the best cannabis which carries a premium unlike the "street dagga" we all are familiar with. 

Coupled with our environmental protection policy of repurposing the bottles we rescue on their way to the landfills, we have reason to blow our own horn. 

We are a single-gait horse, but that is fine and we stand proud. 

So, what is the secret process?

 It’s a secret, so we can’t tell! But jokes aside, the process is outlined in the "Production" page. We will publish a blog soon, but suffice it to say that our process is lightyears removed from the traditional infusion process for the kinds of butter, oils, and other edibles you already know. 

It takes up to 6 weeks to wring every useful milligram of nature’s gift from the coarse plant matter and present it to you in our repurposed little bottles we call gems. 

Why do we remove the alcohol? 

We include a little bit of alcohol because it is still a tincture, and the alcohol goes for free. It is not the main star of attraction. The Full-spectrum CBD ingredients hiding inside our liqueurs are what you are after. If you prefer, you can mix our liqueurs with your drink of choice. We want to keep our conscience clean and preferably abide by the law. 

What flavorings do we use? 

We use the same concentrated flavorings you find in your favorite booze from the liquor store. Only top-quality imported concentrates are chosen to give you the best taste experience. 

How to order? 

Your first step is to contact us using one of the methods mentioned. During this first contact, we will discuss your preferences like variety, strain, potency, flavor, and label design. We will locate cannabis in the correct variety and volume from one of our licensed and regulated suppliers, and then send you a quote. 

When you accept, we will send you an Invoice for a deposit of 70%.  We prefer Payfast, but any method you choose is fine. After we receive payment we will buy your cannabis, adhering to Act 7 of CPPA 2024. Lab tests are prohibitively expensive, so we can't order a lab test for every purchase. Our standard potency is 20mg Full-spectrum CBD per 25ml liqueur or sauce but this depends on the batch. 

Only then can production begin, and patience is the key. Depending on storage, our unpreserved product has a limited shelf life, so you will want to receive your gems as fresh as possible. 

After the four-to-six-week production period, you will be notified that your product is ready, and we will send you your final invoice including shipping.

Please note that the uptake of Marijuana or Cannabis is much more direct and efficient under the tongue (sublingually) than by smoking or swallowing, and consumption is easier to control.
