Functional Movement Screen is a test to measure an individual's functional range of movement it test 7 different categories of movement. Then you receive a score based on execution of the movement
The scoring scale is 0-3
0- If you feel pain while executing the movement.
1- If you cannot execute the movement, even with compensation.
2- You can perform the movement but you need to compensate to do the movement.
3- You can perform the movement correctly as described with no compensation.
The goal is to score at least 14 to reduce injury while being physically active.
If you score 13 or below you have increased chance of injury during physical activity.
