This Privacy Policy explains how the FIRE — Financial Freedom app (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles your information. We built the App to be private by design: your financial data stays on your device and in your own iCloud account. We do not run our own servers that store your personal data.
The App lets you record financial information such as savings, income, portfolio values, monthly entries, and goals. This data is stored:
On your device, and
In your private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit), so it can sync across your own Apple devices.
We have no access to this data. It is stored under your Apple ID and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We cannot read, view, or retrieve it.
If you enable the app lock, the App uses Face ID or Touch ID to unlock it. This authentication is handled entirely by Apple on your device. Your biometric data never leaves your device and is never shared with us.
The App offers a paid subscription processed through Apple’s App Store (StoreKit). All payment and billing information is handled by Apple — we never receive or store your payment details, card numbers, or Apple ID. Apple provides us only with anonymous, aggregated information about purchases and subscription status. Purchases are subject to Apple’s Terms and Privacy Policy.
We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. The App does not include third-party advertising or tracking, and does not send your financial information to us or to any third party.
Because your data lives on your device and in your iCloud account, you are in full control. You can delete your data at any time by removing entries in the App, deleting the App, or managing your iCloud storage in your device settings.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
