FCoV-23 International Research Consortium is an international collaboration amongst research organisations and academic institutions with the purpose of researching on Feline Coronavirus and Feline Infectious Peritonitis in general with a specific focus on FCoV-23 epidemic.
The mission of our research project is to analyse the FIP epidemic crisis that occurred in Cyprus by a novel FCoV recombinant (termed FCoV-23) through collaborative, nonprofit-sponsored research and expand our knowledge on Feline Coronavirus evolution. We also aim to determine the level of FIP cases resulting from the circulating FCoV-strains in Greece and assess the risk of introduction of FCoV-23.
