This module explores the structure, stakeholders, and dynamics of the higher education system. It covers universities, regulatory bodies (like UGC and NAAC), accreditation processes, policy frameworks (e.g., NEP 2020), and the roles of students, faculty, administrators, and industry in shaping the academic environment. 

Focuses on developing learner-centric curricula. Emphasizes Outcome-Based Education (OBE) to ensure students achieve measurable learning outcomes. Also introduces the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS), which offers flexibility and interdisciplinary learning, allowing students to tailor their education. 

This module delves into effective teaching methodologies, diverse learning styles, and tools for continuous and comprehensive assessment. It promotes student engagement, active learning strategies, and formative/summative evaluation techniques aligned with learning outcomes. 

Explores digital tools and platforms (like LMS, MOOCs, AI, AR/VR) for teaching and evaluating today’s tech-savvy learners. Encourages integration of EdTech to foster interactive, accessible, and personalized learning experiences. 

Emphasizes the importance of emotional intelligence, mental well-being, and psychological support in academic settings. Prepares faculty to identify student challenges and provide effective counselling or referrals to promote a healthy campus environment. 

Focuses on fostering a research culture, academic writing, publishing ethics, and grant writing. Also encourages lifelong learning, faculty upskilling, and developing leadership qualities to drive institutional growth and innovation. 

Promotes honesty, fairness, and accountability in academia. Addresses issues like plagiarism, unethical research practices, and exam malpractice. Encourages a culture of transparency, citation ethics, and responsible scholarship. 

Introduces the foundational values enshrined in the Indian Constitution—justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. Encourages the integration of civic consciousness, respect for human rights, and responsible citizenship into teaching and institutional life. 

Encourages environmental stewardship and awareness of global sustainability challenges. Aligns higher education efforts with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to promote green practices, resource conservation, and social responsibility. 

Covers tools and approaches for effective institutional planning, governance, and quality assurance. Emphasizes vision and mission alignment, data-driven decision-making, resource management, and leadership in higher education transformation.
