These boxes are often made with thick, heavy cardboard for the ultimate effective product packaging. Folded cartons are created by pressing two pieces of cardboard together, then folding the material in half before sealing it. After it is trimmed to fit, it is shipped flat and ready to be shipped.

Folding cartons are similar to rigid boxes. But because they are shipped flat, they are more environmentally friendly. Some companies even provide boxes made of sustainable raw materials. Some manufacturers offer folding cartons that are individually packed to ensure their proper shipping with complete protection against moisture and damage.

CONVENTIONAL. One of the most popular packaging options today is custom, which makes use of uniquely designed, eye-catching designs. Many companies even allow customers to request specific thickness, width and colors for their boxes. RUDDLED. While rigid boxes and custom insert packaging have their advantages, they have their own disadvantages. Because they take up more space when opened, they are not ideal for large volume orders.

Most packaging companies offer chipboard boxes, which come in either self wrapping or pre wrapping options.

RIGID FORGED BINDS. Rigid box and rigid drawer boxes are two of the most popular packaging options available today. Both feature heavy duty construction and the ability to withstand lots of use. They are ideal for mailing, which requires the product to remain protected from damage during delivery. In addition, both box styles can accommodate single or multiple inserts per unit, allowing businesses to package their products as per their individual shipping needs.

GROUND WRAP. Many businesses choose to use ground wrapping to protect goods during shipment. Ground wrapping, which comes in different styles, allows for a variety of inserts to be added to each unit, protecting the contents from damage during transportation. This option is especially effective for delicate items, such as glasses and paintings, which often require extra care during shipping. Some ground wrapping products are provided with a self-sealing adhesive strip, ensuring no moisture is trapped inside the box during transport.

Small items can also be shipped without packaging material, but crates and kraft rigid boxes are suitable alternatives to rigid boxes.
