Different Types Of Cigarette Boxes
A cigarette box is essentially a sturdy flat box used to store a few numbers of cigarettes and thus prevent them from being damaged. An average cigarette box is usually a rectangular box that usually opens symmetrically into a two-sided half. Each half usually stores a series of rectangular cigarettes, which are typically held in place either by an elastic or a spring. It is seen that most people like to keep their cigarettes in their box for a long time, as they are durable and keep the tobacco away from children.
Most tobacco products manufactured these days are manufactured in a closed position. The tobacco is placed in the top half of the box and kept in an open-top box or in a vertical or closed position. Usually, the vertical cigarette box is made of heavy cardboard and has the nicotine and other gums enclosed within the body of the box. On the other hand, the closed position box typically consists of the tobacco, filter, and other products wrapped in paper. Cigarette boxes can be found in many shapes, like the ones described above, or you may be interested in some unusual varieties.
Cigarette boxes are found in different shapes. Those with top one is a smaller box with two or more compartments, which has the cigarettes placed in an upright position. This type is usually made of plastic and has a lid on one of the two compartments. The bottom one has no windows. In general description 1, the two compartments mentioned above are included in this type, while the bottom one may have one or two small windows in its design.
A variation of the horizontal cigarette box is the one with the same design, but in this case, the cigarettes are placed in an upright position and the lid is closed on top of them. It is made of translucent plastic like that used for cameras. In this case, the upper compartment also has a window and the bottom one is closed. The design of this type of box differs according to the manufacturer. Cover 24 is meant to protect the cigarettes from dust when they are not used.
Another type of cigarette box is the horizontally elongated rectangle. In this case, it is possible to open the top part of the box in order to light the cigarettes. It has a flat bottom and has one or more compartments on top of it - similar to the shape of a typical saucer. The only difference is that, instead of being closed, they are opened in a vertical position.
A third type is an open-top box having horizontal tracks in the end walls thereof, and in the middle of the bottom part of the box. In this case, the cigarettes are pushed into the bottom part of the box, held on with the help of a metal grip, and removed by pulling the metal grips apart. This type is quite common in areas that are heavily populated, as it facilitates easy handling of the cigarettes by all users. The cigarette box with the open-top position is known as the tri-fold cigarette box. On the other hand, the cigarette box with horizontal tracks in the end walls thereof is called the tri-folding cigarette box.
Cigarette packaging is highly specialized and there are several companies that manufacture different kinds of packaging materials. Some companies make cigarette boxes that have a single color and the entire box is white; others produce packaging for all kinds of cigarette packs, each of them having its own distinct color. Some manufacturers make packaging that is clear and some that are partially translucent. There are boxes that have liners and those that do not. Some of the packagings also includes plastic inserts, protective films, or shells.
Cigarette packaging is of great importance to cigarette manufacturers. The cigarette holder that is used to keep the cigarettes fresh and within reach is also of vital importance. Some cigarette holders have their own metal trunnions while others use trunnion connectors that are fixed into the trunnions. Trunnion connectors help in keeping the trunnions firmly in place, especially when there are two trunnions in close proximity to one another.
