Who We Are

My name is Jim Finnegan, and I am the owner of Finnegan Handyman Services, LLC.  I have been a resident of Haddon Heights, NJ for almost 30 years where I married my wife and raised our three children.  Our first and only home, in Haddon Heights, was a handy-man special that required some TLC.  I found out very quickly that I was going to have to learn the necessary skills needed for maintenance and home improvements.  After working in a corporate setting and traveling to the city, daily, I made the decision to leave that behind and follow my passion of home repairs and improvements.  This change gave me the opportunity to be present and not miss out on the things that are most important, family.

Several years ago, we decided to purchase land in Avalon Manor, NJ, where our family has been part of the community for many, many years.  Our next step, and hope, was to find a house to recycle and move to our property.  After finding our little cottage, we spent the next five years fixing everything from plumbing, electric, insulation, drywall, decking and everything in between.  It has been so rewarding to see the progress that we have made and instill the importance of hard work, dedication and skills in our children.  They have come to appreciate all that we have sacrificed and know that this house, situated in our little island community, is a true, family treasure.

Finnegan Handyman is a full-service company who does the little jobs the "big guys" don't want.  We are a professional maintenance company dedicated to clients who don't have the desire or time to do the smaller jobs.  We will do the simple repairs necessary for keeping your home safe and beautiful.
