Finn, Thank you so much for a great week, I had a super time, Happy to have met everyone else.

After several years of windsurfing the same spots here in Norway and getting into winging more, I felt the need to re-invigorate my windsurfing. I had been eyeing Ireland, particularly Brandon Bay, for a while and always thought it would be a great spot to sail. When I saw that Finn was organizing an advanced wave clinic in the area, I jumped at the opportunity!

And what a week it was! Thanks to Finn’s expert local knowledge, we hit the best conditions, enjoying full-on cross-offshore winds, mast-high waves, and some fantastic float and ride sessions over the course of five days.

Without Finn and his dad Niall’s local insights, it’s safe to say we wouldn’t have scored the conditions at the right spot at the right time. That alone was worth the investment!

But this wasn’t just a guided tour; it was a clinic. There’s nothing like seeing yourself in action and identifying areas for improvement to break out of bad habits. The insights gleaned from video footage, without being overly technical, have been more than enough to level up my wave windsurfing for the coming year.

If you’re hesitating about going on a clinic, don’t! The level of insight, sailing, and camaraderie developed on and off the water with Finn and fellow windsurfers was well worth it.
