Replicability is a cornerstone of all scientific disciplines, including agricultural economics. Agricultural economists often provide recommendations to stakeholders, including policymakers. However, replication papers are still lacking in leading journals and in the scientific and policy culture. In my work, I support this process in three ways: i) demonstrating the importance of replication, ii) providing all the material necessary to replicate our own work, and iii) (to be developed further) actively providing replications to inform policymakers.
