Mission and Objective of GCS Fine Arts Boosters:

The mission of the Geneseo Central School Fine Arts Boosters is to provide support that enhances the experience of students in the Fine Arts, encouraging life-long participation in, and appreciation of music, theater and art.

Ways we support the Fine Arts

We support the fine arts at Geneseo Central School through volunteer opportunities, fundraising, providing scholarships for seniors, supporting projects/events, keeping the arts in the news, and so much more!

Events/Activities we sponsor:

Geneseo's Got Talent
Enrichment opportunities related to the fine arts
Concession Sales (Fall Musical/Spring Play/Geneseo's Got Talent)
Fine Arts Festival
Senior Recognition at music and art events (corsages, senior celebration, senior banner)

Ways we support financially:

Scholarships for Seniors that are part of the Fine Arts groups
Funding projects from our Fine Arts educators
Supporting student finding for NYSSMA Festivals
Publicity during the Fall Musical and Spring Play
Equipment purchases

Financial Policy

In the winter of 2023-2024, members of FAB got together drafted and then adopted a financial policy for the group. This will help guide our future spending plans in the years to come. Please review the policy below. This policy will be reviewed and updated every two years.
