Child Safety Standards & CSAE Policy
Last Updated: June 6, 2026
At Finds, user safety is our highest priority. Because Finds includes social and collaborative features, we are deeply committed to protecting our users, particularly minors, from any form of harm, abuse, or exploitation.
This document outlines our strict, zero-tolerance policies against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and details our enforcement protocols in compliance with industry safety standards.
Finds enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding the sharing, creation, or promotion of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and any form of child exploitation or endangerment.
Any user found to be violating these terms will face immediate, permanent account termination without appeal, and their data will be preserved and reported to the appropriate legal authorities and international safety organizations.
Users of Finds are strictly prohibited from utilizing our platform, collections, collaborative spaces, or messaging features to engage in any of the following:
Sharing or Storing CSAM: Uploading, saving, linking to, or distributing any visual depictions or text-based descriptions of child sexual abuse or exploitation.
Grooming: Any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, abuse, or trafficking.
Sextortion: Threatening to expose sensitive, private, or sexual information/imagery of a minor to coerce them into providing money, more imagery, or sexual favors.
Sexualization of Minors: Creating or sharing content that sexualizes minors, even if it does not qualify legally as CSAM.
Endangerment: Promoting, coordinating, or encouraging physical harm, trafficking, or kidnapping of minors.
If we detect or receive a report of CSAE on our platform, our moderation and safety team will take immediate action:
Immediate Account Suspension: The offending account, along with all associated IP addresses and device identifiers, will be permanently banned from accessing Finds.
Evidence Preservation: We will securely preserve all relevant account data, metadata, uploaded items, and chat histories associated with the violation.
Mandatory Reporting: We will actively report the incident, along with all preserved evidence, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through their CyberTipline, as well as to relevant local and international law enforcement agencies.
We empower our community to help keep Finds safe. If you encounter any content or behavior that you suspect violates this Child Safety Policy:
In-App Reporting: Use the "Report" button located on any collection, profile, or comment. Select "Child Safety/Endangerment" to flag the content directly to our priority moderation queue.
Direct Email Reporting: You can urgently escalate reports by emailing our safety team directly at [Your Support/Safety Email, e.g., safety@findsapp.com].
In compliance with digital safety standards and platform requirements, Finds has designated a primary Point of Contact (POC) responsible for managing safety policies, overseeing moderation protocols, and corresponding with law enforcement, regulators, and platform providers (such as Google Play).
Our designated point of contact is ready, authorized, and able to speak about our safety standards, enforcement mechanisms, and specific compliance with child safety regulations.
