Journaling Tables: Sometimes we simply need space to sit, read, journal, reflect, etc. This is exactly what the “journaling tables” are for. They are not truly part of any station, just a space to be. We placed verse cards on each table that could prompt reflection, but there are no “framed prompts” on any of the tables.

Outdoor Chairs: The room we use for our Stillness retreat opens to a large outdoor balcony. We make sure that 3-5 chairs are available outside (weather permitting) so that participants can spend time out there if that would be a blessing to them. Note: Make sure the chairs are angled away from one another so that if someone is sitting in that chair, no other participants are in their direct line of vision. Attempt to create places of solitude as much as possible.
