Q. How can I view my current FARS score?
A. You can view it on the view only excel sheet provided in the mail.
Q. How often is the FARS score updated?
A. FARS score would be updated every week.
Q. What about the confidentiality of the data that is being collected?
A. We are strict about using the data collected only to keep a record of the members who are participating in researches, to award them with FARS and not for any other purpose.
Q. Is this only for researchers/volunteers from a specific educational background or country?
A. No. As long as you are interested in research or just in contributing to this community, you are most welcome to be a part of FAR.
Q. Can I use FARS to help my classmate find researchees for their research?
A. Sure. You can use FARS to avail our services for yourself or for any friend/classmate/family/acquaintance.
Q. Is there a provision to borrow/lend FARS?
A. Yes. If you know the borrower/lender personally, you can first ask them and then write to us regarding the same. Else, if you would like us to share your requirement with all our volunteers, we could do that, too.
Q. For how long can we continue being a member at FAR?
A. As long as you fulfil the minimum eligibility of participating in 2 researches in a month, you can continue to be a member.
Q. How can I terminate my membership at FAR?
A. We would encourage you to be a part of FAR and hate to see you go, however, you can terminate your membership by writing to us by mail.
Q. What if I want to join as a member at FAR post termination?
A. Once a membership has been terminated, their names, details and FARS are deleted from our database. You can rejoin as a new member. However, your FARS progress would be lost.
Q. What if I do not have enough FARS to get the no. of responses that I require for my research?
A. In that case, you can make a payment based on the no. of responses that you require. The cost of getting your form filled by 1 FAR volunteer would be INR 5/-. eg: To get your form filled by 100 volunteers(without using FARS), you would have to pay INR 500/-. You can, also, pay in both ways to get researchees.
Q. Is there a maximum limit to earning FARS?
A. You can earn as many FARS as you want in one year, depending on the no. of researchee volunteer opportunities shared with you.
Q. How else can FARS be used, apart from getting researchees?
A. We are planning to come up with a lot of exciting services, training programmes and merchandise for our dear members. If not used for research, FARS could be used to buy/avail discounts on our other services.
