Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Scanner: Scan PDF & Document (the "App"), provided by Kello Solutions ("Kello Solutions", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of the App

Scanner: Scan PDF & Document is a document-management application that may allow you to:

• Scan physical documents using your device camera

• Import images and documents

• Create and edit PDF files

• Crop, rotate, and enhance scanned documents

• Recognize text using OCR

• Combine, reorder, and remove PDF pages

• Add electronic signatures

• Protect documents with passwords where supported

• Export and share documents

• Manage scanned documents on your device

Features may vary depending on your App version, device, operating system, subscription plan, or region.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the App under the laws applicable to you.

If you are under the age required to enter into a legally binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

3. Your Documents and Content

You retain ownership of documents, images, text, signatures, and other content that you import into or create using the App ("Your Content").

Kello Solutions does not claim ownership of Your Content.

You are solely responsible for:

• The documents and content you scan or import

• The legality of the content you process

• Having the necessary rights and permissions to use such content

• Ensuring that you do not infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights

You should not use the App to process documents that you are not legally authorized to access or reproduce.

4. Local Storage

The App is designed to allow documents and scans to be stored locally on your device.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important documents. Kello Solutions is not responsible for loss of documents resulting from:

• Device failure

• Accidental deletion

• Operating-system updates

• Loss or theft of your device

• Uninstallation of the App

• Storage corruption

• Device migration

• Any other event outside our reasonable control

5. Accuracy of Scanning and OCR

The App may use automated technologies such as document detection, image enhancement, and optical character recognition ("OCR").

These technologies may produce inaccurate results.

You are responsible for reviewing scanned documents, OCR text, signatures, page order, formatting, and other generated or modified content before relying on it.

Kello Solutions does not guarantee that:

• Every document will be scanned correctly

• OCR results will be error-free

• Documents will have perfect image quality

• Text recognition will be complete or accurate

• Signatures will be legally valid in every jurisdiction

• Exported documents will preserve all original formatting

6. Electronic Signatures

The App may provide tools for creating or placing electronic signatures on documents.

The availability or legal validity of an electronic signature depends on applicable laws, regulations, the document involved, and the parties to the transaction.

You are solely responsible for determining whether a signature created using the App satisfies the legal requirements applicable to your situation.

Kello Solutions does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that a signature created through the App constitutes a legally binding signature.

7. Password Protection

Where the App provides password protection or document security features, you are responsible for remembering and securely storing any passwords you create.

Kello Solutions cannot guarantee recovery of documents protected by passwords that you lose or forget.

You should maintain independent backups of important documents.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may work with operating-system features and third-party services, including services used for file storage, document sharing, analytics, payments, advertising, or other functionality.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Kello Solutions is not responsible for the availability, security, content, or practices of third-party services that you choose to use.

9. Subscriptions and Purchases

Certain features may require a paid subscription or other purchase.

Where offered, subscriptions and purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's applicable terms and payment policies.

Subscription pricing, billing periods, free trials, introductory offers, and available features will be presented before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel them before the end of the current subscription period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account/App Store subscription settings.

Deleting the App does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.

Refunds are handled according to Apple's applicable refund policies.

10. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

If a free trial or promotional offer is provided, the terms of that offer will be displayed at the time it is presented.

Unless otherwise stated, if a free trial converts into a paid subscription, you will be charged according to the applicable subscription price after the trial period ends.

Eligibility for introductory offers may be determined by Apple or the applicable App Store.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations

• Infringe intellectual property or other rights

• Process documents you do not have permission to access

• Commit fraud or facilitate illegal activity

• Impersonate another person

• Distribute malicious software

• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App

• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by applicable law

• Circumvent security or access restrictions

• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the App or its infrastructure

We may restrict or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe it is being used in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, user interface, graphics, trademarks, logos, text, and other materials provided by Kello Solutions, is owned by or licensed to Kello Solutions and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not:

• Copy the App

• Modify the App

• Distribute the App

• Sell or sublicense the App

• Create derivative works

• Reverse engineer the App

• Use our branding without permission

These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the App to you.

13. Availability and Updates

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time.

We do not guarantee that the App or any particular feature will always be available.

We may release updates to improve performance, security, compatibility, or functionality. Some updates may be necessary for continued use of the App.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Kello Solutions makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The availability of the App

• The accuracy or reliability of scanning or OCR results

• The completeness of documents

• The accuracy of exported files

• The legal validity of electronic signatures

• Compatibility with every device or operating-system version

• The uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App

• The security or availability of third-party services

You use the App at your own risk.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kello Solutions and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

This includes, without limitation, losses resulting from:

• Loss or corruption of documents

• Loss of data

• Business interruption

• Incorrect OCR or scanning results

• Reliance on generated or processed documents

• Unauthorized access caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control

• Third-party services

• Device failure or loss

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kello Solutions and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of the App

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of applicable law

• Your Content

• Your infringement of another person's rights

17. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access to certain App features where reasonably necessary, including if you materially violate these Terms or misuse the App.

Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.

18. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled.

Please review the Privacy Policy before using the App.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the beginning of the Terms.

Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Kello Solutions, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive consumers of rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented within the App, constitute the agreement between you and Kello Solutions regarding your use of the App.
