Achievements and Acknowledgements

Although hampered by the pandemic of 2020 the project more than achieved its aims of providing the archives with more recent, dated, photographs of the Greensand Country. Rather than receiving 50 photographs dated 2020 we received more than 200 covering the last 20 years and in some cases comparing sites at different dates.

We would like to thank all the photographers, the Greensand Landscape Partnership, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Greensand Trust.

What Next?

We hope that the participants will remember to send us more photographs for the archives. If you would like to help to Fill the Gap, please contact Bedfordshire Archives by email at archive@bedford.gov.uk
