Tearing my hair out with this one. I have a form library, with a number of InfoPath content types attached to it. I wanted to create a link on another page which would open these forms without having to browse to the form library, click new, select the form.

So at first I thought I could just create a hyperlink to the template location but clicking the hyperlink attempts to open in browser and displays a message "Error This form cannot be opened in a web browser. To open this form, use Microsoft InfoPath."

I'm not sure what I'm missing. I need the forms to be Filler form, since I'm using functionality not present in browser forms. Is there any way I can have these forms open in filler when using a link?

When I saw this happen, it was an InfoPath 2010 filler form published to a SharePoint 2007 site - same thing, worked fine from New Document or opening the template location, but using a link to the template caused this issue.

The [[Questionnaire]], [[ValueSet]] and [[CodeSystem]] resources are retrieved to allow the system to guide the user through the entry process. The [[Binary]] and [[DocumentReference]] resources allow the system to find existing clinical documents that can be within the pre-population process. (Support for retrieval operations on these resources is optional as the relevant CDA or FHIR structures may also be directly generated by the ''Form Filler'' itself.) Finally, the [[QuestionnaireResponse]] resource is used to record the populated form.

Note: Form Fillers that support the 'populate' operation will need to be capable of consuming and rendering a partially completed QuestionnaireResponse in the same manner as if they had retrieved such a QuestionnaireResponse from a ''Form Response Manager''

Head to your extensions manager page and refresh the extension to load in the latest code and head over to the Google form and open your extension and click on the button. You should see a popup similar to this:

So we first remove the placeholder element over the form just to make it look a bit more readable when injecting the content (this is optional) followed by finding the form field and setting the value. Once again, refresh the extension and try it out. Hey presto, you should see the first name populated with

I have a forms library in SharePoint 2010.When some people try to open InfoPath forms it seems like the browser wants to open them in the browser and not in InfoPath filler. Since those forms are not browser enabled that does not work. For other people this works as expected.

How does the browser (or Windows) know with which application it should open the InfoPath forms? I have tried the file extensions, but this is XML and XML can be multiple things. Where can I configure that InfoPath forms should be opened in InfoPath Filler and not in the browser?

It would be cool if instead of going from form to sheet it could go from sheet to form. I send out a lot of paperwork that if I could just populate with the info from certain columns, it would save me a lot of time or at least give me a fairly complete first draft of the paperwork I need to send out.

Sounds easy, but I'm a web developer and can't find the way how to make QT accomplish the task, I only managed to load url with QWebView object using WebKit, have no idea what to do next, how to fill in fields and submit forms. Any hints, tutorials, videos? I appreciate this.

There's also another way to do this; involving the document tree traversal API that's been available in QtWebKit since 4.6: QWebElement. You'd basically process the form pretty much the same as you would do in JavaScript, except that here the API is different and more limited. It's C++ though and might be a little bit faster. I guess, this approach might be less attractive for you, given you're a web developer and probably already know JavaScript.

They are made from 12-gauge steel for heights from 4" to 7-1/2" and 10-gauge steel for forms 8" and higher. All are available in standard 5' sections and up to 10' by request. Our straight filler forms are manufactured with a top rail of ~2-1/8" inside dimension and no bottom rail allowing them to easily slip over the 2" rail of the straight flatwork forms they are used to connect.

dee flexible filler forms are used to bridge the odd lengths between forms or at the end of a flatwork placement. They are manufactured with 13-gauge spring steel with attached end angle, three loose stake pockets and locking clamp.

Straight filler forms are used in concrete placements such as sidewalks, slabs, patios, curb & gutter setups, and other flatwork applications that require two sections of straight forms to be joined together.

The use of straight filler forms frees contractors from using wood or masonite to fill in odd length gaps between straight forms, provides uniform gap filling while saving time and waste removal. In addition, using straight fillers forms is easier and quicker to use than wood or Masonite, increasing forming productivity.

Using flexible filler forms allows contractors to quickly fill in form gaps during radius forming without using costly masonite or other lumber products to complete the placement saving money and eliminating waste disposal time and expense.

The variation in documentation skills sparked an idea for the clinical informatics and nurse manager teams: nurses who demonstrated efficient EHR use could coach their peers. Giving these adept nurses additional training could make them experts in efficiency tools, enabling them to act as role models for the nurses in their units who needed the most support.

The clinical informatics and nurse manager teams started growing the pool of experts by offering quarterly a two-hour class that covered a checklist of efficiency tools and personalization options in Epic. Any nurses interested in leveling up their documentation skills could take the class and were reimbursed for their time. Nurses had access to the system during class, letting them confirm they were using all the recommended tools and fine-tune personalization options. With their processes and setup refined, they were ready to demonstrate best practices for their peers during their next shift.

The team also made a plan to help the nurses whose NEAT data indicated they were struggling. Individual nurses received at-the-elbow coaching from a member of the clinical informatics team who demonstrated tools and personalization options to help nurses reduce their time in the system.

As a company we have been using InfoPath form libraries, opening the InfoPath form filler to create and edit InfoPath forms. With the end of life of Internet Explorer less than a year away, we need an option on how to open these forms in SPO.

We do not need or want the form to open in the web browser, we simply want the browser to be smart enough to launch the form filler desktop application. This is currently not the behavior of Edge. Will Edge support this before IE EOL? If not what is the way forward with the thousands of forms my company has created over the years?

PowerApps is not a robust enough solution to support the sophistication of the InfoPath forms we have built out. We simply just want to be able to continue to open the InfoPath form filler from our existing InfoPath form libraries in SharePoint Online.

We have this same issue. We have a filler form and no longer have the capability to use IE. We can open the filler forms directly from the SharePoint Library in Edge (using SP Online and in the "New Experience" mode). But what is failing is when users get a workflow task with a link to the form in an email - the form will not open from that link. Does anyone know of a way around it? Is there anything that can go in the compatibility settings that will be generic enough to work for any link to a form?
