I am a Lecturer-Assistant Professor at Rutgers University New Brunswick. Formerly, I was a postdoctoral associate at Rutgers working under the supervision of Prof. A. Shadi Tahvildar-Zadeh.
My research interests are mathematical physics and derived geometry. I apply homological algebra and other categorical methods to understand classical and quantum field theory, with a particular emphasis on physics in curved spacetime and gravitation. This research guides my teaching and mentoring methodology: I endeavor to help students see the power of math both in its abstract and applied forms.
In April of 2022, I completed my PhD in mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst: my advisor was Prof. Owen Gwilliam.
My CV is available upon request.
I was a counselor for the Ross Mathematics Program during summers 2015 and 2016.
