Welcome to the NJ Governor's STEM Scholars 2022 Team 9 Research Project! We have spent the last year working on a 3-D filament splicer and are delighted to share our project with you.

A heating element, chamber, and fans are used to heat the filament and fuse it together.

Stepper motors are used to drive the filament in and out of the heating chamber.

The user interface is through an LCD display and rotary encoder.
