Janes inspiration is drawn from memories, people and places. She use symbols, patterns and mythology from various cultures and landscapes. Her works will sometimes reflect on history, stories and aspects of injustice that may surround them. Informed by travel and research she will draw, paint and print to express ideas allowing an image to dictate the medium or practice best used to articulate an idea. She likes to explore mixed media and play with techniques which are often combined to create a finished piece.
