See what guests say about Figtree Cottage
NEW Peaceful 1 bedroom elegantly accessible farmstay with beautiful views to Pigeon House Mountain and 9 km from stunning Narrawallee and Mollymook beaches.
The Cottage is built from hempcrete (not the THC kind!) because of its wonderful environmental, health, thermal and acoustic properties. No air-con needed here! It is a breathable material and aesthetically beautiful as well. We're excited to offer what we believe is the first accessible hemp fibre property in the Milton/Mollymook area. The original dairy timbers have been used for furniture throughout the cottage, and local artwork adorns the walls.
Little Forest is a stunning part of the South Coast with ample opportunity to do a lot - or nothing. Beautiful coastal and bush walks, ocean and lake activities, frequent cultural events, a great music scene, local wineries, breweries and great dining.
After a day's bushwalking or beach activities, relax in our stunning claw-foot outdoor bath and enjoy a sunset dinner sitting by the smokeless firepit. Or watch the wildlife and cows and calves grazing across the farm. And there are views from every window in the cottage. We can also help arrange a little luxurous pampering in-cottage.
Staying a while? Laundry access can be arranged.
An induction cooktop, full size fridge, convection microwave and expresso machine allow for easy self-catering. And there's a BBQ with outdoor table under the pergola. All accessible.
Under-cover parking with low elevation path completes the easy access.

What people say about Figtree Cottage of Milton's accessibility features
"Driving home after our time spent at your idealic Figtree Cottage Milton I can only describe my mood as calm and rejuvenated, which for someone in my position is rare. From the moment we arrived at your property I felt safe. Every detail was considered for wheelchair accessibility throughout the Cottage. The spacious footprint allowed easy access to all areas including a luxurious bedroom with a King electric bed positioned under a skylight revealing the night sky to lull you off to sleep while star gazing. The stylish but practical bathroom catered for all my needs (wonderful non-slip floor tiles) I can't wait to return in the cooler months to take full advantage of the majestic views, curled up in front of the wood burner with a good book and a glass of red.
Thankyou so much for your considered hosting, we wish you every success in this much needed area of accessible accommodation."
