Public Comment

Public Comment Periods

Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend School Site Council meetings. The Council receives input from the public during designated public comment periods. Each comment will be limited to three minutes (or shorter, if necessary due to time constraints).

• Comments on agendized items will typically be heard at the beginning of the meeting.

• Comments on non-agendized items will be heard at the end of the meeting.

Submitting Public Comment Online

If you are unable to attend a meeting in person but would like to submit a public comment, please complete this form. Your comment will be made available to Council members and, if you so indicate, will be read aloud or summarized during the public comment period. If you wish for your comment to be read aloud, please keep it to 400 words or less.

Williams Complaints

The Education Code requires that

1. There should be sufficient textbooks and instructional materials.

2. School facilities must be clean, safe, and maintained in good repair.

3. There should be no teacher vacancies or misassignments.

There is a Williams Complaint Procedure for reporting lack of compliance with these requirements. This district website has links to the Complaint Form and other related documents.

Reporting Other School Site Concerns

If parents have concerns regarding the school site, they are encouraged to first reach out to the appropriate teacher(s) or staff and/or school leadership (Principal Charlene Tucker, tucker.charlene@pusd.us) to seek resolution. If the concerns are not resolved within a reasonable period of time, then parents may wish to notify the district's central leadership and/or school board. Recommended contacts are provided below.
