While citizens are entitled to the right to bear & possess arms for self-defense, there are limits included in the constitution and by public acts that require a person, in order to legally possess a firearm, to carry an Act C11-68 Complainant Firearms License

You cannot file a request for one of these licenses online; you must go to your nearest police station in order to file a C11-68 Form with your local department and begin the background check process. You must also have at least 125 hours of firearms training at the time of or during the application process.

• Firearms training is provided at no-cost if you attend special programs offered by Velmeria's Federal Police Service.

Weapon owners Before February 24th, 2022, they are grandfathered in and must simply just file the paperwork to be issued a license.
