We start early to get our workouts in before the day truly begins, giving you an energizing boost and freeing up the rest of your day for family, work, and other commitments. It’s a great way to prioritize your health!
Absolutely! FiA (Females in Action) is a 100% free, volunteer-led community. There are no fees, no memberships, and no catches. Our mission is to support women in their fitness journeys without financial barriers.
You are encouraged to modify the workout according to your needs. You may want to drop your weights or add weights to make it more challenging. You can choose to walk if you aren't up to running that day. We will even suggest modifications if you want to know how to make the exercise more doable. You are only competing against yourself.
The most important thing is to just show up! We're thrilled to welcome you. Simply come ready to move. We'll introduce ourselves and make sure you feel right at home.
Yes! FiA Mint Hill is open to all women, regardless of fitness level or experience. We welcome newcomers with open arms. Our workouts are designed to be modifiable, so you can always participate at your own pace.
You can come as you are! We don't want anything to get in the way of you trying it out. But if you like to be prepared, we recommend bringing a yoga mat (unless you like doing push-ups on the asphalt!) and a set of free weights. You can get an excellent workout with just a set of 8 or 10lb dumbbells.
