Midwest Teacher Initiative 2025 -2026

Teaching can be an isolating profession, yet we know we do our best work when we are in community with other committed educators who can both support and push us. As a member of the National Writing Project, we invite you to join other NWP teachers from throughout the Midwest in a yearlong exploration of what it means to each of us to be teaching in the age of Large Language Models, ChatBots, … At our sites we will  gather regularly to support inquiry projects and reflection as a means to explore, share practices, and discuss concerns and successes, and we will gather across our sites.
