What is AVID?

AVID is an elective class that offers student support to become well rounded citizens. We strive for academic achievement, but also incorporate other life-long skills in the class. Our goal is to close the opportunity gap and for every AVID student to be accepted to a 4-year university. There is a lot of collaboration in this elective class, which results in a "family" like environment.
