2021 Senior Parents

Graduation

Foothill High School Stadium

One graduation mask will be handed to each Senior as they enter the stadium for graduation.

The masks are each individually wrapped in plastic.

Please have your senior wear another mask while walking from the car to the stadium. They can change their mask at the entrance and hand their old nasty mask to you.

Check-in will begin at 4:30pm at the Foothill Athletic Stadium.

Your entire pod must check in together WITH YOUR GRADUATE, with their ID card. There are no in and out privileges, so please bring everything you need with you.

Covid Screener (This will not be collected and there is no need to print it out) Just read, answer it in your head, and if you don't qualify to show up in person, please stay home and watch the livestreamed ceremony. Thanks.

*Graduates need to bring their diploma cover and senior year ID. If they do not have either of these, they need to come to the main office anytime this week or next week between 9am-3pm.

The Seniors do not graduate in alphabetical order. Please watch for the teacher or staff member who is presenting them to look for your Senior.

SENIORS: Wear cap, zipped up gown (and wear something nice under the gown), any leis, cords (around your neck), sashes. Bring your student ID card and diploma cover. Snap a selfie of yourself sitting in your stadium seat. Enjoy the moment, you earned it!

Grad Nite

May 28, 8:30 pm-2:00 am

Santa Cruz Board Walk

Please have your senior check their Instagram! Also, have your senior thank the leadership kiddos after they do!! Grad Nite!!

Buses will leave at 8:30pm and will not wait.

The only way to get a wristband to enter grad nite is on the bus!

Wristbands and Boardwalk bucks will be handed out by the chaperones on the bus.

Print out, sign and bring the COVID waiver with you the night of Grad Nite!

Note: Tell your senior to pack what they might need for Grad Nite and keep it in your car (change of comfortable and warm clothes, shoes, ID, hand sanitizer, water, COVID Waiver form, etc.). We all know that the Junior lot can take hours to get out of, so this way you are covered if there is no time to get home in between the ceremony and grad nite buses leaving.

A few changes from the original agenda. Since Santa Cruz county did not hit the yellow tier we redid the evening events. We replaced the DJ with music over speakers that will be played throughout the Boardwalk. We took out Freight Walk and added in more air hockey tables, more arcade games, more caricature artists and an additional ride. The midnight pizza feed time has also been extended!

Bus provided by Black Tie Transportation.
