Note:  Remember that your free course runs for 30 days from the point of registration. 

Any time needed after that will be subject to XCEL's extension fee.

Step 1:  First, please watch this video explaining how to register for the course.

Step 2: You will log into Xcel Testing Solutions and choose a course for Life & Health license

Step 3:  Once email is received with your above information provided, you will receive an email with additional registration instructions.  

Step 4: Once registered, please go to your state and click register for your test. Some states require you to complete the Excel testing before applying for your test.  You have to have your background check done before applying for your license. Get this done while you are studying to take the test. Once you take the test and pass, apply for a license, and they will have your background check.

There is a practice exam at the end, which we recommend getting high 80s on twice. You need 70% to pass the test in person. You don’t need to become an expert; just get the license done. Your actual training will be out in the field.
