When you update NIPR it will automatically update in your HCMS in 1-5 days
After the verification of the basic details, an OTP verification screen will be displayed. A 6-digit OTP will be shared with the mobile number and email obtained from NIPR.
Please use the dashes on your Phone number format
Once the OTP is verified, the producer will be taken to a tab where they have to select the Tax Identification Number (TIN) type; SSN or ITIN.

After the verification of the details, you need to set up a password
The password you set up will be the same for all Family First Life websites (HCMS, Gateway, ILC, NLC)
Review all your personal information and make sure it’s accurate.

Make sure you add a beneficiary because you get renewals since day 1 if something happens to you your beneficiary can claim those renewals commissions

If you have not taken this through LIMRA or you are a Newly Licensed Agent, please SKIP AML. Once you have submitted your MUTUAL OF OMAHA contract they will sponsor you to get AML training done through LIMRA.
If you have never completed AML training before you need to have a sponsor in order to access LIMRA

The need a 7 year Employment History with no gaps
Answer all background questions.
If you answer YES to a background question? You will need to write a letter of explanation. You will also need to include any copies of court documents if you have any charges on your record. You can upload these items to the system directly and add any explanations necessary.
Type your full legal name and this will apply a digital signature to all you contracts submitted through NLC
Click I accept to consent the use of a digital signature
After your profile is complete, go to Request if you were not redirected after completing your profile.
Create one Request for each Insurance Company
Select New Contracting if this is your first time getting appointed with that company other wise, select New Contracting (ReInstatement)
If you select to be contracted in multiple states at once you’ll have to pay fees, Please make sure you contract on the states you are actually planning to write business in.
Form Submission: Please Review all contracting documents generated. You have to scroll all the way down before you can agree and authorize the submission of the contract
To apply your digital signature a code will be sent to your phone number. Type that code under Signature Key
Apply your Contract Application Password (Same Password to login to HCMS/NLC)
Please make sure your request is SUBMITTED and not a DRAFT
24-48 hours after you have successfully submitted your contracting request NLC will updated the status
“Corporate Rejected” – It means that our main corporate office is not going to send your contract to the insurance company because there is missing information. For details please read the comment section.
“Corporate Approved” – It means that our main corporate office has sent your paperwork to the insurance company for review
“Pending with Carrier” – It means that the insurance company is reviewing your application.
“Carrier Approved” – It means that the company has approved your contract and you are ready to sell their products
“Carrier Rejected” – It means that the insurance compsny rejected your request. Please contact the insurance company directly for details about the rejection
If your request was approved the carrier will assign a writing number that will be added to your profile and a notification will be visible in NLC

After you complete AML your contract will be approved in 24-48 hours

Login to Gateway and click on the left menu to find your SureLC Link (Use same credentials as HCMS)
Select Register New Account – make sure you see FFL Strength & Finance on the top right

** Use a NEW email if you have ever used SuranceBay before. Must be all-new, or it will not come to our team. It will get lost
After entering your DOB the system will check the NIPR database to make sure you are a licensed producer. Once your account has been located, a confirmation message will be shown.
Next, you’ll receive a confirmation email at the address entered as your Login ID. The email will be sent from setup@surancebay.com. Locate the email and select Click Here link to activate your account and complete the account registration process. At this point you’ll be redirected to a page where you can create your login password.
Individual
This option should be selected when when the producer will be paid commissions directly from the insurance company at the set commission rate. Producers will receive a 1099 with their SSN at the end of the year from the insurance company.
DON’T SELECT ANY ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
In place of a voided check, we can accept a letter from your bank. It must be signed by a bank representative and include your routing number, account number and personal information on bank letter-head.
These are the ONLY two options for setting up direct deposit payments. They won’t accept deposit slips, bank cards, or anything other than a check or bank letter-head.

DRAW SIGNATURE – Choose this option when you don’t have access to a printer or scanner and want to review the signature authorization form on screen. Once reviewed, terms can be accepted and then a digital signature can be created on-screen via mouse or drawn when using a mobile device or tablet.
YOU WONT HAVE ANY CARRIERS AVALIBLE TO REQUEST . After your profile is complete, go to HCMS and create a NEW CARIER REQUEST
IF YOU ARE ALREADY CONTRACTED WITH ANY OF THE COMPANIES AVAILABLE PLEASE CLICK ON TRANSFER INSTEAD OF CONTRACT
When you click on Request it will take you to the At Producer tab by default. If the company you requested through HCMS is not there please check with your agency admin.
After you have submitted all your companies log back in about 48 hours and make sure the status of those contracts are at Carrier if one of them says producer you probably missed something and you need to resubmit the contract
Once the contract is at Carrier call the companies to find out what’s the status o your appointment request
From your account dashboard, or, any page with the '+' icon on the left side, you can click and select 'New Carrier request' from the dropdown list of actions available for your account.
Select the carrier from the subsequent dropdown menu. Please note that unavailable carriers will be greyed out. You may hover over the carrier to get relevant information in that regard, or, contact your agency admin.
Once selected, you may click the 'Add carrier to list' button.
The Carrier and their products will be visible in the 'Added Carriers’ section. Also, you may edit/remove the carrier by clicking the three dots to the left of each entry.
Steps 1-4 can be repeated to add multiple carriers. They will be listed in the same section.
Once completed, the user can then click ‘Create request’.
Keep checking in on the status of these types of requests. When a request status moves to “Corporate Reviewed,” it is now available in your SureLC profile and you should complete any remaining steps to get appointed with the carrier through that profile. Once you receive your producer number from a carrier, please complete the last and necessary steps in your HCMS profile to have the carrier reflected in your profile.
Keep checking in on the status of these types of requests. When a request status moves to “Corporate Reviewed,” it is now available in your SureLC profile and you should complete any remaining steps to get appointed with the carrier through that profile. Once you receive your producer number from a carrier, please complete the last and necessary steps in your HCMS profile to have the carrier reflected in your profile.
Once you have completed your contracting through SURELC, and you have your Agent Number/ Writing Number. It's IMPORTANT for you to go back to your Request and close it by Adding your Agent number by Selecting Carrier approved
