Ça va nous prendre encore un petit moment pour revenir sur la terre ferme après s’être fait “astraliser” ainsi! Mentionnons-le, la 2e édition de Good Vibes marine depuis 3-4 années de préparatifs, d’attente, de coup de poing dins dents de nos rêves, d’espoir et de résilience qui se sont entremêlés moult fois dans ces “rides” de roller-discoaster dont nous n’avions pas l’itinéraire! XD

OUF! On a envie de dire OUF aussi. Quelle satisfaction. De voir vos sourires. De vous voir tout court. D'être là - ensemble. ENFIN - pour de vrai, comme dans le plan! Jamais notre patience et notre motivation n'avaient été ainsi mises à l’épreuve! Juste ça, c’était complètement surréel. Merci aux dieux du disco -onu et les autres- d’avoir veillé sur nous tout au long de l’aventure Good Vibes - Diskodyssée!

C’était une édition assez incroyable où nous avons fait beaucoup avec peu de moyens. On ne saurait assez vous remercier d’avoir mis la barre aussi haute pour les éditions à venir!! Merci aux artistes musicaux bien sûr, sans qui le festival serait vraiment bizarre! XD La liste est longue et assez spectaculaire quand on y pense! (Line up détaillé dans la description de l’événement pour ceux et celles qui recherchent un.e artiste mystérieux.se qui les a faits trippé!)

En voulez-vous des Good Vibes? En voilà!! Vous avez fait honneur au nom du festoche et on va s’en rappeler! On a reçu énormééément de bons commentaires au sujet de la belle vibe des festivalier.es et on tenait à vous le dire, on tient quelque chose de beau! Vous étiez discoliscious de la tête aux pieds, merci d'avoir sauté dans le Vibe Train à pieds joints! Merci pour vos outfits déjantés, votre belle humeur et d’avoir pris soin les uns des autres, vous êtes au top.

Nous avons lancé l’appel et vous avez répondu : FUNK YEAH! Plus magnifiques et enthousiastes que jamais. On était parfois un peu rouillés, mais vous avez su être notre jig-a-loo. Qu’est-ce qu’on aurait fait sans vous!?

De l’équipe du montage-démontage (tech, artistique, menuiserie, etc!) jusqu’à celle du stationnement, en passant par le Phare, l’accueil, l’épique verte, la sécurité aquatique, le tout nouveau sanctuaire, l’équipe des soins, le village des enfants, l’équipe du feu, les bénévoles volants et les stages managers hors pairs, MERCI! Vous avez géré en ta’ et ça s’est bien ressenti dans l’équipe de l’organisation. On a même pu profiter et danser nous aussi, c'était assez incroyable merci!

Merci à Jeanne et à l'équipe d’Olivia d’avoir réalisé l’espace Hommage à nos ami.es qui nous ont quittés. C’était vraiment un bel endroit où plusieurs d’entre nous ont pu aller se recueillir. Merci à Martin Leblanc pour le magnifique set hommage à Joé Mallette ainsi que pour la minute de silence au gré du bruit des vagues qui nous a aidés à tourner une page ensemble. Merci à Stéphane Joseph Bergeron pour la toile en direct pendant le set et à Kakku et au village des enfants pour leur belle bannière pleine de magie et d’amour! Merci aussi à Adrien Ta Too pour le design inspiré de Jonas!

It's going to take us a while to get back on dry land after being "astralized" like that! Let's mention it, the 2nd edition of Good Vibes Marine has been 3-4 years in the making, waiting, punching the teeth of our dreams, hope and resilience that have been intertwined many times in those roller-discoaster rides we didn't have the itinerary for! XD

PHEW! We want to say PHEW too. What a satisfaction. To see your smiles. To see you all. To be there - together. FINALLY - for real, as in the plan! Never before had our patience and motivation been so tested! Just that, it was completely surreal. Thank you to the disco gods -Jonu and others- for watching over us throughout the Good Vibes - Diskodyssey adventure!

It was a pretty incredible edition where we did a lot with little means. We can't thank you enough for setting the bar so high for future editions! Thanks to the musical artists of course, without whom the festival would be really weird! XD The list is long and quite spectacular when you think about it! We put out the call and you answered: FUNK YEAH! More beautiful and enthusiastic than ever. We were a little rusty at times, but you were our jig-a-loo. What would we have done without you?

From the set-up crew (tech, art, carpentry, etc!) to the parking lot crew, the Phare, hospitality, the green dream team, water safety, the brand new sanctuary, the care space crew, the kids village, the fire crew, the flying volunteers and the outstanding stage managers, THANK YOU! Thank you to Jeanne and the Olivia team for making the space in tribute to our departed friends. It was truly a beautiful place for many of us to gather. Thank you to Martin Leblanc for the magnificent tribute set to Joé Mallette as well as for the minute of silence over the sound of the waves which helped us turn a page together. Thanks to Stéphane Joseph Bergeron for the live painting during the set and to Kakku and the children's village for their beautiful banner full of magic and love!
