Ways to Volunteer

Below is a Short List of Volunteer Opportunities throughout the Year. Of course, many more may become available so feel free to email the PTO at fescubspto@gmail.com if you are looking for Volunteer opportunities. Teachers also sometimes have special projects or need help in their classrooms so feel free to ask your child’s teacher about opportunities in their classroom.

Book Fair

Book Fairs are held twice during the School Year for one week each time.  Assistance is needed for daily sales during Book Fair Week and also Book Shelving at any time throughout the year.  Contact Media Specialist, Sara Johnson for more details or to volunteer.

Car Rider Line

Volunteers are needed for morning and afternoon Car Rider Line.  Volunteers will assist with opening car doors and facilitating Student arrival and dismissal.  If interested, simply come to the school prior to student arrival/dismissal to receive training. 

Daily Ice Cream Sales 

Ice Cream is sold daily in the Cafeteria during Lunch Hours. Volunteers are needed for a couple of hours to help with Sales. Feel free to email the PTO at fescubspto@gmail.com for more details or to volunteer.

Feasts

Feasts are held throughout the year for students and parents.  Volunteers are needed to assist Cafeteria Staff with coordination.  Contact  the Cafeteria Manager for more details or to volunteer.

Hearing  & Vision Screenings 

Hearing and Vision  Screenings are held at the school during the year. Volunteers are needed to assist School Nurse with facilitation of Screenings. Contact School Nurse for more details or to volunteer.

Holiday Shoppe 

The Holiday Shoppe is a way for students to purchase various Holiday gifts for family and friends.  Volunteers are needed to assist with Sales for the week. Contact PTO Board at fescubspto@gmail.com for more details or to volunteer.

School Picture Day 

School Pictures are taken twice during the school year. Volunteers are needed to assist with facilitation and coordination of School Picture Days.  Contact PTO Board at fescubpto@gmail.com for more details or to volunteer.

Spring Fling 

Spring Fling is held at end of School Year and includes many activities for Students.  Volunteers are needed for various duties.  Contact PTO Board at fescubspto@gmail.com for more details or to volunteer.

Technology

Technology Experience is NOT a requirement for this Volunteer Opportunity.  Volunteers are needed to assist with various duties which include technology tracking, technology deployment, etc. Contact Regina Yeargin (Technology Specialist) for more details or to volunteer.
