On behalf of the PTO, we welcome you. We wanted to take a moment to explain to our community the function of the PTO at Fayetteville Elementary School. PTO stands for Parent-Teacher Organization, consisting of parents and teachers working together to “Empower Students for Success”. The function of the PTO is to support school staff, help promote student self-esteem, and assist in efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and funding.What is the PTO and who can be a Member?
The PTO is made up of several officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, & Secretary and not to mention our wonderful school staff and volunteers. We are open to other committees and ideas as we grow.Who can be a Member?
Are you a father, mother, guardian, grandparent, and/or a person who teaches or instructs at Fayetteville Elementary School? If you answered YES, then we would like you to become a member.How do I become a Member?
You can participate and help us make a great school year. We need as many volunteers as possible, and are flexible enough to work around your schedule. Our group meets approximately once a month to discuss events, plan fundraisers to enhance all programs, and share ideas. This is a wonderful way to find out what is happening at our school from the PTO's perspective. You can register for volunteer opportunities by sending cash or check (made payable to FES PTO).-To join the PTO we ask you donate a $20.00 membership fee. -Any additional donations are gladly accepted.
PTO Programs & Fundraising
Our primary objective as a PTO is to provide our school with resources, services, funds and programs that will enrich and maximize the education of every child and to benefit the school. To meet this important objective, we will participate in school community functions and fundraising efforts.Become a Volunteer..........Why YOU should get involved?
The PTO is a team effort in which we cannot succeed on our own. This is where you can come in! We need your help, and so do the children. Here at Fayetteville Elementary School, we strive for excellence and what better way than to become involved today. We are in need of volunteers to help re-establish the organization. We have planned some exciting events this year with the aim to get more parents involved in their children’s education. There are many ways for parents to get involved.
