It was so good to stand together, reflect and be a part of the community of Fernie during November 11.  Thank you to the many community members that took part, gave their time and effort to make this event embody the importance it deserves for recognition of service, sacrifice, and reflection.  It was great to see so many faces come and visit along with some amazing music from "Between the Pages", the work of both our Army and Air Cadets, and not to mention all  the volunteer efforts to reach out to our veterans in care homes.  Thanks also for the many donations given to our poppy funds, fundraising such as the custom poppy ear rings, as well as the donations from our community businesses including Save On Foods and Starbucks that were so enjoyed.
