applications of multi-omics data.

The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has put the scientific community on the warpath for effective treatment of COVID-19. Many groups have refocused their research towards the studying of this virus and potential to fight it.

Rapid and effective scientific communication around the world will be key to meet this goal. I wanted to make a contribution with the realization of my Master's thesis studying the genetic basis of COVID-19. I hope that this in silico approach will be of interest and may inspire prospective studies.

Huge thanks to my team Francisco Antonio Gomez Vela PhD, Miguel Garcia Torres , Federico Divina and Domingo Savio Rodriguez Baena

Unveiling the genetic causes for complex diseases such as cancer pushes us towards earlier detection and effective treatment, tasks at which biomarkers discovery becomes essential. Get to know more about our group's work here.

Biotech orientation sessions

It is a pleasure to be part of the orientation sessions for the degree in Biotechnology at the University Pablo de Olavide in Seville. An afternoon of meetings, debates and new opportunities.

We would like to thank our fellow graduates Alba Jiménez Díaz, Ana Galindo García, Rafael Serrano Durán for their vision of Biotechnology and Juan Carlos Rodriguez Aguilera for putting us in touch with the new graduating classes of this great family of biotechnologists in Seville.

Introduction to Bioinformatics to Biotech students

Today's seminar on Bioinformatics at Pablo de Olavide University. Such a pleasure counseling first year students on the much interesting field of Computational Biology. Much thanking Prof. Francisco Antonio Gomez Vela PhD for inviting me to this course from the degree in Biotechnology.
