These terms and conditions are intended to explain the booking, payment, cancellation and participation requirements for hikes offered by Fenua Rando in Bora-Bora. By making a booking, participants confirm that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
Bookings are made directly with Fenua Rando via WhatsApp or email. They are confirmed once the date, selected hike and number of participants have been validated.
To ensure the hike is prepared under the best possible conditions, each participant must provide their firts name, last name, age, phone number, and any medical conditions or allergy that could affect the hike.
prices are indicated in Pacific frans (XPF), per person, in the description of each hike.
Payment can be made :
in cash, befor the start of hike
by bank transfer, no later than three days befor the hike.
For payments made by bank transfer, a screenshot of the payment confirmation may be request to verify the transaction.
Any cancellation must be communicated to Fenua Rando via WhatsApp or e-mail.
If the booking is cancelled at least three days before the scheduled date, any amount already paid will be fully refunded.
If the booking is cancelled less than three days before the scheduled date, any amount already paid will not be refunded.
If a participant fails to arrive at the meeting point without notifying Fenua Rando, no refund will be provided.
Hiking activities depend on weather conditions and trail conditions. To ensure the safety of participants, Fenua Rando reserves the right to modify the itinerary, postpone or cancel a hike.
The final decision is made by the guide, who assesses the conditions and potential risks before departure.
If a hike is cancelled by Fenua Rando, a new date will be offered. If rescheduling is not possible, any amount already paid will be fully refunded.
Each participant must ensure that their physical condition is suitable for the difficulty level of the selected hike. The required fitness level and minimum age are specified in the description of each hike.
Participants must inform the guide of any health condition, medical treatment or allergy that could affect the hike.
Participants agree to follow all safety instructions given by the guide before and throughout the hike. For safety reasons, Fenua Rando reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone whose health condition, behaviour or equipement is considered unsuitable.
Each participant must bring enough water, suitable hiking shoes and rain protection. For longer hikes, a packed lunch will also be required.
Lightwaight trousers, a change of clothes and a comfortable backpack are recommended. Participants with allergies must bring their own medication.
A detailed list of the requirement equipment will be provided at the time of booking, depending on the selected hike and wheather conditions.
Depending on the route, Fenua Rando provides the necessary safety equipment. Gloves and a backpack can also be provide upon request.
The meeting time and location will be provided when the booking is confirmed. Each participant is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to arrive on time.
In case of delay, the participant must inform Fenua Rando as soon as possible. A significant delay that could affect the safety or organization of the hike may result in the participant being unable to join the hike and will be considered a late cancellation.
Transportation to the meeting point is not included in the price unless agreed otherwise in advance. Fenua Rando can assist with arranging a taxi; the taxi fare will be communicated separetely and remains the responsability of the client.
Participants agree to respect the trails, vegetation, cultural sites and all instructions given by the guide. No litter way be left behind during the hike.
Each participant is responsible for their personnal belongings. Fenua Rando cannot be held responsible for the loss of or damage to a phone, clothing or any other personal item during the hike.
