Fengze Xie

I am a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the California Institute of Technology co-advised by Professor Yisong Yue and Professor Soon-Jo Chung.

My research interests mainly focus on the intersection between machine learning and robotics, including control, planning, and perception.

I received a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 2021, following the completion of a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2020. 

At Caltech, I'm a member of  the Autonomous Robotics and Control Laboratory.
