Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization is one of the biggest cases on reproductive rights since Roe v. Wade.

The essential question of this case asks whether all pre-viability prohibitions on abortions are unconstitutional. House Bill 1510 passed in Mississippi is the most restrictive law regarding abortion in the country. The bill prohibits abortion after 15 weeks which certainly challenges the viability line established in Roe v. Wade ruling. The viability line refers to when states can ban abortions. In the first six months of pregnancy, women are allowed to terminate a pregnancy, states are supposed to abide by this legal line. Mississippi essentially overturned Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. The constitutionality of the law will be brought to the Supreme Court in the 2021-22 cycle.
