Being a feminist means believing that women and men deserve equality - equal rights and opportunities. As women, we create this page in commemoration of the courageous females in history who have fought for our right to vote, an education, equal wages, and a plethora of other rights.

This act fought to end the discriminations experienced by women in education.
Women all around the world have had to go through an extreme amount of difficulties to receive the rights they have today. Women can now receive higher education and get better jobs for better wages.
Equal pay act of 1963
This act fought to end the pay discrimination in the workplace of men vs women.
Dobbs v. Jackson
This is on-going Supreme Court case that challenges the constitutionality of prohibiting pre-viability abortions.
Women have struggled for centuries to get reproductive rights despite the fact these are basic human rights. Today, there are still states trying to restrict a woman's access to abortions, contraceptives, and family planning services

This was a landmark case in the fight for reproductive rights.
