Fernanda Almeida is a Brazilian filmmaker and anthropologist. She has directed independent short films selected to festivals in Brazil and abroad. She is graduated in Cinema and a Master's degree in Anthropology, both from PUC-Rio. She has worked as a video editor since 2006, having worked at several production companies in Rio de Janeiro. She also worked at TV Globo and has done three jobs as a cameraman and assistant editor for the BBC Real Time channel.
