Indian National Young Academy of Sciences and the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda is co-organizing a webinar series entitled 'blue planet', in connection with World Ocean's Day from 7th June till 9th June. The series will feature popular talks by eminent scientists in the field of marine biology, oceanography, marine chemistry, marine geology and so on. The purpose of this series is to spread awareness about why our oceans matter. Talks will mostly be non-technical presented in an accessible manner to non-specialists. The sessions will be immersive with a lot of time allocated for QnA. Open for all, including artists and musicians.

How to participate?

The talks will be live streamed at our YouTube channel. Subscribing to the channel is recommended to get updated when live sessions are on. We will be monitoring usage stat of YouTube and cross-matching with registration details via Google API to make sure of active participation. Those who completely watch 6 out of 7 sessions and ask relevant questions in chatbox are eligible for e-Certificate. Please refrain from trivial comments like 'good morning to all' etc. Also, please make sure that you are signed into YouTube that enable us to map the usage statistics. In case of skipped talks, you can make up by watching the videos again.
